JOHN ALPER

John first spun his mom's vinyls at the age of 3.  He picked up his first guitar a few years later.  The love affair with music has never ended.  A singer-songwriter, John has had a full life in the arts.  He has had a successful carreer in film, is an internationally known award-winning director of tv commercials, has composed and performed music for film, tv, the world and gospel.  John has been working with Abby Layne for the past couple years, writing, recording and playing their music ranging from Americana, Jazz/pop and gospel.  He has two beautiful children, one beautiful wife, a crazy Portuguese Water Dog and lives in Bridgewater, Ct.
